Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah is an Indian Politician and a social worker. He belongs to Bharatiya Janta Party and elected from the Tehri Constituency of Uttarakhand State. She is the current Queen of Tehri Garhwal District.
She was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha in a bye-election and is a Member, BJP State Parliamentary Board in Uttarakhand. She defeated INC (Indian National Congress) Candidate “Vijay Bahuguna” by a margin of 22k votes.
Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah is the daughter-in-law of Last ruler Raja of the Garhwal Kingdom “Manabendra Shah”. She is the first woman who elected to Lok Sabha after the separation of Uttarakhand State from Uttar Pradesh.
She is going to contest 2019 Lok Sabha Election from Rehri Garhwal seat.
