He started his acting career with the Mahesh Bhatt’s Television serial “Swabhimaan” which was aired on DD National. He became famous after playing the role in the super hit Tv serial “Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi”.
He is also a part of India’s Pop band “A Band of Boys” along with Sudhanshu Pandey, Sherrin Varghese, Siddharth Haldipur and Chaitnya Bhosale. This band also released a movie named “Kis Kis Ko” in 2004 which was based on their musical journey.

Karan Oberoi Controversy:
He was arrested on 5 May 2019 for raping a woman and booked under Indian Penal Code Sections 376 (rape) and 384 (extortion). He allegedly raped the woman on the pretext of marrying her and also demanded money from the victim threatening to release the video if she did not pay up.
