Mallu Swarajyam was an Indian Politician from the Communist Party of India. She was a member of an armed Dalam which was involved in the Telangana struggle. Mallu Swarajyam organized the Andhra Maha Sabha to get people together to protest against bonded labor system in the Nizam’s rule. Mallu Swarajyam Career:
Mallu Swarajyam was attracted to Communism at the age of 10 after reading the book Mother, by Maxim Gorky. She motivated people by singing revolutionary songs during the armed struggle against the zamindars and Razakars during the Nizam’s rule between 1945 and 1948.
She was also the leader of an armed Dalam of the Communist party. Her husband was a CPM politburo member and Nalgonda district secretary.
