Miguel Van Damme Career:
He began his football career in April 2014 in the Jupiler Pro League. In 2016, Van Damme had a medical examination before the new season began of 2016-17. During that time, he was diagnosed with leukemia. One year later he was cured of his disease and signed a contract with Cercle until June 2019.
In January 2020 Van Damme relapsed from leukemia and doctors gave him not much hope. Despite the news, he received immunotherapy. He got a new contract with Cercle on 16 June 2020. On 18 October 2021, he relapsed, leaving him to fight leukemia for the 5th time in 5 years.
