He earned a Diploma in Gurmat Sangeet from Shaheed Sikh Missionary College, Amritsar in 1976.
Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa Career:
At the initial stage, he started his career as a music teacher in Gurmat College, Rishikesh and other numerous colleges of India. From 1979, he started serving as “Hazoori Raagi” at Sach Khand Sri Harmandir Sahib. Apart from this, Nirmal Singh Khalsa also performed kirtans at various Gurudwaras in India.
He has also released numerous albums like Japji Sahib Rehraas Sahib, Karo Jodariya, Pritam and many more.
He was awarded the Padma Shri Award in the field of “Arts” by the Government of India in 2009.
