Biswabhusan Harichandan has been appointed as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh. He will replace “ESL Narasimhan”, who has been the Governor of Andhra Pradesh for a decade. He began his political career in 1971 and joined the Bharatiya Jana Sangha as a National Executive Member and State General Secretary till the formation of Janata Party in 1977.
Biswabhusan Harichandan joined the Janata Party in 1988 and became its Vice-President for the State. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on 4th April 1996 and also served as State President in Odhisa.
