K.M. Mani was an Indian Politician who belongs to the Kerala Congress Party. He holds the record of presenting the maximum numbers of budgets in the Kerala Legislative Assembly as Finance Minister and also served the Longest term as a member in the Kerala Assembly from the Pala seat.
He helped the farmers and widows of Kerala State by introducing pension schemes for them. He had resigned from the post of Finance Minister of Kerala on 10 November 2015 as he was accused of being a part of the bar bribery scam.
He was the Chairman of the Empowered Committee of State Finance Ministers on Goods and Services Tax.
