Marco Jansen made his List A debut for the North West team in the 2017-18 CSA Provincial One-day Challenge on 8 April 2018. Marco Jansen got to bowl during the Indian team’s South African tour in 2017-18. Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri have seen him bowl and invited him and his twin brother to come back and visit again.
Marco Jansen made his first-class debut for North West Province in the CSA 3-day Provincial Cup 2018-19. He was also named in the South Africa U-19 team on a tour to India in January 2019.
