Mrinal Sen Career:
He was born in a Hindu Family on 14 May 1923, Faridpur (Now in Bangladesh). After completing school, he moved to Calcutta to study physics from Scottish Church College and also earned a master’s degree at the University of Calcutta. He also involved with the cultural wing of the Communist Party of India. He took up the job of an Audio technician in a studio in Calcutta, which helps to launched his film career.
He made his debut in the feature film “Raat Bhore” in 1955. His next movie “Neel Akasher Neechey” which gave him fame and recognition. While his third movie “Baishey Shravan” became the first film that gave him national and international exposure.
