Piyush Goyal Education:

He did schooling from Don Bosco High School, Matunga & completed his Graduation in B.com from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He also did LLB from Government Law College, Mumbai and Charted Accountancy from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi.

He secured all India second rank in Chartered Accountant.

Piyush Goyal Career:

At the initial stage of career, he started to work with commercial banks from 2001 to 2004. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 1984. He was also the member of the Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha.

During his 28 years long political career, he served many important positions in the BJP. He was elected from Maharashtra for the Rajya Sabha on 3 June 2016.

Currently, he is the minister of Railways and Minister of Coal in the Indian Government. Earlier, he was the Minister of State with Independent Charge for New and Renewable Energy, Power, Coal. He became the Railway Minister on 3 September 2017.

On 23 January 2019, he was temporarily given charge of Ministry of Finance in the absence of Arun Jaitley who is in the US for the medical treatment.

Apart from Politics, he is also an investment banker and also actively involved with many several NGO’s.
