He was born on 25th October 2002 & grew up in New Delhi. He started training from Ram Pal Cricket Academy in Gargi College in South Delhi. Later, he shifted to Durgapur & joined Durgapur Cricketer Center & caught attention in the Ambar Roy Sub-Junior Under 14 cricket Tournament.
He shifted to Kolkata after getting selected in Bengal Under 16 team & live with his grandparents in a small flat. He made his List A debut for Bengal in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on 20 September 2018. He was Bengal’s leading wicket-taker in his debut season in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy where he took 11 wickets in 9 Matches with an economy of 4.45.
