Rohit Shekhar Tiwari was an Indian Politician who belonged to BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party). He was a biological son of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand former Chief Minister “N.D. Tiwari”.
His mother “Ujjwala Sharma” was in a relationship with N.D. Tiwari in the late 1960s. At the same time, he had also spent his married life with Late Sushila Tiwari who died in 1991.
Rohit Shekhar Tiwari filed a paternity suit in 2008 where he claimed that N.D. Tiwari as his biological father and then finally in 2014 Delhi High Court announced him as N.D. Tiwari son on the basis of DNA test.
In 2014, N.D. Tiwari got married to Rohit Shekar Tiwari’s mother at the age of 89 Years.

He died on 16 April 2019 at his residence in Defence Colony, Delhi. On 24 April 2019, his wife “Apoorva Shukla” was arrested on the charge of strangulating her husband to death.
