Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur is a Hindu Activist and BJP Politician from Madhya Pradesh. She has been accused of the Malegaon blast case. In 2008, eight civilians were killed in the bomb blast which was happened in Maharashtra and Gujarat. For this incident, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur along with the other two members were arrested without any charge sheet against her.
In the talk show of Rajat Sharma “Aap ki Adalat”, she revealed the brutal face of Police after arresting her. Some male officers of prison beaten her badly and also used third-degree torture. Even they didn’t give her food for 24 hours and also ask her to accept false allegation.
Anti-Terrorist Squad had found only her bike at the location of the incident. But according to Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur statement, she sold that bike prior 4 years.
Currently, she is suffering from Stage 3 breast cancer.
She was also associated with RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) during her college days and always campaigned to support women empowerment.
She is also going to contest 2019 Lok Sabha General Elections from Bhopal Seat.
