Satyajit Biswas Political Career:
He was very humble by nature and even not involved in any corruption in his entire political career. He has worked hard for the betterment of Matua Community. He was a two-term member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. He represented the Krishnaganj constituency of Nadia District.
Satyajit Biswas Murder:
Satyajit Biswas was shot dead by unidentified assailants on 9 February 2019 evening during the celebration of Saraswati Puja marquee in Phulbari. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him “brought dead”. According to the sources, TMC leaders blamed the BJP for this murder as Satyajit Biswas involved with the Matua Community where BJP were not able to grab the Matua voters because of him.
