Scott Walker was an American-Born British Singer. He was known for his distinctive baritone voice and an unorthodox career path which took him from 1960s pop icon to the 21st-century avant-garde musician. He was mainly popular in the UK, where his first three albums reached in the Top Ten. He also got a British Citizenship in 1970 and lived there since 1965.
He always had a keen interest in Music since his childhood and also worked as a child artist and singer in the late 1950s. He appeared numerous times in the Television series.
He came into limelight in the mid-1960s as the frontman of the pop music trio “The Walker Brothers”. He debuts as a solo artist with “Scott” which was released in 1967. He also released Scott 3 and Scott 4 but unfortunately, his solo work didn’t go well, so he decided to join again with The Walker Brothers in the mid-1970s.
Since the mid-1980s, Walker revived his solo career and until his death, he had worked as a solo artist. He was last signed to 4AD Records.
