Yogesh Chander Deveshwar was an Indian Businessman and Mechanical Engineer. He was the Chairman of ITC Limited.
He joined ITC Limited in 1968. He was appointed as a director on the board of the company in 1984 and became the CEO and Chairman in 1996.
In 2010, Yogesh Chander Deveshwar was due to step down as Head of ITC.
He was India’s longest-serving CEO at the time of his death and also earned nearly triple the second-highest salary in his company. He was listed the Best Performing CEO in India by Harvard Business Review and seventh in the world.
