Naveen Patnaik Education:
He did schooling from Welham Boys School, Dehradun and Doon School. He earned a BA degree from Kirori Mal College, New Delhi.

After his studies, he becomes an author and wrote 4 books and during this time he met the former lady of America, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Later, he wrote two more books with her.
He entered into politics after the death of his father “Biju Patnaik” in 1997. Some party members wanted Biju’s children to represent the party, but unfortunately, Naveen’s elder brother and sister declined the offer. In that situation, Naveen took responsibility and contest the elections.
Later, he was appointed as the Union Minister for Mines in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government.
Naveen Patnaik formed his own party named “Biju Janata Dal”.
