Harmohan Dhawan is an Indian Politician who belongs to Aam Aadmi Party. He is a former member of Parliament from Chandigarh, India. In 1979, he started his career in the Hospitality Industry by launching a restaurant named “Mehfil”.

Harmohan Dhawan Education:
He did schooling from B.D. High School and S.D. College, Ambala Cantt. He earned his B.Sc (Honours) from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1963 and Msc (Honours) in the year 1965. Harmohan Dhawan was a Research Scholar and joined the PL 480 aided project where he did research on “Cytological Studies” of the Economic Plants of North West Himalayas.
Harmohan Dhawan Political Career:
In 1977, he began his Political career and became the President of Janata Party in the year 1981.
He was elected as Member of Parliament from Chandigarh Constituency and became Minister of Civil Aviation in 1989.
He joined the Aam Aadmi Party after being impressed by the Arvind Kejriwal’s Government in Delhi. He contested Lok Sabha Elections 2019 from the Chandigarh seat.
