Krishnamurthy Subramanian Early Life & Career:
Krishnamurthy Subramanian was born in the year 1978 in Chennai, India. He belongs to Tamil – Brahim community. His father worked as a bank officer while his mother is a homemaker.
Krishnamurthy Subramanian did his B. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras). Later on, he moved to Chicago to do his MBA & Ph.D. His Ph.D. was done under Luigi Zingales and Raghuram Rajan. He is one of the youngest economists in this position. Before this crucial position, he worked as an Associate Professor in International Business school (ISB), Hyderabad.
During 2005 and 2010, he worked as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Goizueta Business School, Georgia.
