R. N. Ravi Political Career:
Ravi was appointed Chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee in 2014. On October 5, 2018, he was appointed as India’s Deputy National Security Advisor.

Ravi was named Governor of Nagaland by President of India Ram Nath Kovind on July 20, 2019.
