Shalin Bhanot Career:
Shalin Bhanot moved to Mumbai after finishing his formal schooling in Madhya Pradesh, where he auditioned for the second season of the MTV reality show Roadies in 2004.
Shalin Bhanot made his acting debut in the Hindi entertainment industry in 2005 as Akshay in Ayushmaan, a Sony Entertainment Television serial. Shalin Bhanot appeared in the Zee TV serial Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar in the same year, playing the character Karan.
Shalin Bhanot portrayed Agni, a character in the Sony Entertainment Television drama Kulvaddhu, in 2006. Shalin Bhanot debuted on Sony Entertainment Television in two TV programmes in 2007, Aahat and Kaajjal. Shalin Bhanot Controversy:
Dalljiet Kaur filed for divorce in the Bombay High Court in 2015, accusing Shalin of physical assault against her. She further claimed that Shalin cheated on her and wanted dowry from her parents after their marriage.
In response to the allegations, Shalin called Dalljeit’s claims untrue and unjustified. During an interview, Shalin stated that he never hit her or demanded money from her parents.
In 2016, the Bombay High Court ruled in Shalin’s favour, dismissing all claims against him; although, the court granted Dalljeit permanent custody of their juvenile son, Jaydon.
Dalljeit Kaur filed another petition in court in 2019, alleging her ex-husband and his family of failing to pay her alley money. In her complaint, she alleged that Shalin and his family lavished themselves with money while refusing to help her and Jaydon.
