Anandiben Patel is an Indian Politician and the current Governor of Uttar Pradesh State. She also appointed as a Chief Minister of Gujarat and became the first woman of the state who served this position.
Anandiben Patel was the Cabinet Minister for Education from 2002 to 2007 and also Cabinet Minister of Road and Building, Revenue, Urban Development and Urban Housing, Disaster Management and Capital Projects in the Gujarat Government from 2007 to 2014.

Anandiben Patel Education:
She did schooling from N.M. High School. She was an athlete and a district level champion during her school days. Later, she attended M.G. Panchal Science College for Graduation. After her marriage, she earned a Master degree in science and also received a gold medal in her master of education program.
Anandiben Patel Political Career:
At the initial stage, she joined Mohiniba Kanya Vidyalaya as a teacher. She was noticed by senior BJP leader when she saved the two girl’s life who were drowning in the Sardar Sarovar reservoir during a school picnic. BJP cadre requested her to join BJP and later she joined as the Gujarat Pradesh Mahila Morcha President in 1987.
was appointed Rajya Sabha member in 1994 and elected as the cabinet minister for education under the ministry of Keshubhai Patel. She continued her service as a cabinet education minister after winning assembly elections in 2002 and 2007 from Patan Assembly Constituency. She was also assigned to Roads & Building and Revenue in her third term.
Anandiben Patel won from Ghatlodiya constituency in the 2012 elections and continued as cabinet minister of Road and Building, Revenue, Urban Development and Urban Housing, Disaster Management and Capital Projects.
She was appointed as the Chief Minister of Gujarat state after the election of Narendra Modi as a Prime Minister of India in 2014 but she resigned from this post in 2016.
She became the Governor of Madhya Pradesh in January 2018. Anandiben Patel has also become the Governor of Chhattisgarh on August 2018.
On 20 July 2019, she appointed as the Governor of Uttar Pradesh State replacing Ram Naik.
