Ruma Guha Thakurta was an Indian Film Actress, Singer & Musician. She made her acting debut with the movie named “Jwar Bhata” (1944). He was best known for her roles in Ganashatru (1989) and Abhijan(1962).
She also had an excellent career as a playback singer in the movies such as Likochuri, Bakso Badal and Mera Dharam Meri Maa.
She founded the Calcutta Youth Choir in 1958.
